As an assistant teacher, your primary role will be to provide classroom support and assist the lead as they guide the class through a lesson or learning activity. To oversee the pupils in and out of class and provide guidance and support where necessary.
Job Description
- To provide support to the lead teacher on preparing learning materials, delivering lessons and overall supervision of the pupils within and outside of the classroom setting.
- To collaborate with lead teachers, administrators and parents on a regular basis regarding student progress.
- To assist with planning and implementing instructional materials as necessary to meet special education guidelines.
- To provide individualised support to help with meeting learning outcomes.
- To assist Lead Teacher and other relevant staff in given circumstances where necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: B.Sc or B.Ed degree holder
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
